BAGLIORI DI VITA

Primavera, incanto di vita,
libero volo in picchiata
di garrule rondini marine
sul mare che si risveglia
da incredulità sopita.
Tutto preme e si rallegra
nel grembo della terra
o dentro fermento d’acque:
gestazione e tempo di sorprese
di memorie arcaiche.
Il risveglio accende di bagliori
nuovi le dure zolle brulle
e sulle spiagge abbandonate al sole
ardono fiammelle antiche.

FLASHES OF LIFE
Spring, spell of life,
free dive dive
of sea swallows
on the sea that wakes up
from dormant disbelief.
Everything presses and rejoices
in the womb of the earth
or inside ferment of waters:
gestation and time for surprises
of archaic memories.
The awakening lights up with flashes
new hard clods
and on the beaches abandoned in the sun
ancient flames burn.
